Michael Glenn Monroe is an artist in Michigan. He and his wife, Colleen, have collectively published over 20 children’s books.
In 2007, Michael was chosen by the President and Mrs Bush to create a series of 15 paintings to be featured in the White House Holiday Program. They are now a permanent part of the White House gallery. Michael was also called upon by the White House to hand-paint 1000 Christmas ornaments for the President and Mrs Bush to be used as personal gifts to friends and dignitaries.
All of the books are wonderfully illustrated, details about animals and cute stories but when Michael read A WISH TO BE A CHRISTMAS TREE, to me, I got a little emotional. Don’t wait till Christmas to pick up this book.
